OCTOBER 2016 - LET"S MOVE!

SEPTEMBER 2016 ART CHALLENGE: NEW LIFE

JULY 2016 ART CHALLENGE: STORM

 JUNE 2016 ART CHALLENGE: "ROMANCE"

MAY 2016 ART CHALLENGE: "AUTUMN PALETTE"

Our challenge for March and April is "DRY"
Bring your interpretation along to the March or April meetings. Work will be displayed for other members to admire. This is not a competition, just some added fun.

January & February - "Summer Fun"

We will be starting the new year with some summer fun.
Bring your painting to the meeting on 24 January 2016

2015: October - "Local is Lekka"

Our Final ART CHALLENGE for the year will be "Local is Lekka" and we encourage all members to take part in this painting challenge. This is not a competition and there are no rules (except the usual - no copying other artists work or photos unless you have written approval) AND to have fun!
The interpretation is all up to you, the artist and we look forward to seeing how you interpret this subject.
Is it to do with sport, local products or our beautiful country?

2015: September - "Blooming Wonderful"
As we become more energised as spring starts covering our beautiful landscapes with colour.

2015: August - No Challenge this month due to the Painting competition, "Sounds"

2015: July  - "Winter Blues"

Mid-winter can be tough for artists who may prefer to go out to paint. Winter blues can be a scene shrouded in mist or a memory of a warm cup of cocoa whilst warming at the fireside.
2015: June  - "Dimensions"
Quite a bit of scope here – by definition: a measure of spatial extent, especially width, height or length; extent or magnitude – it will be interesting to see interpretations of this one!

2015: April & May  - "Autumn Moods"
Here is a bit of inspiration....play with colour.....play with shapes and textures. What does autumn bring to mind? A riot of colour, trees with golden boughs, falling leaves, squirrels stocking up their larder, warm wine, fire side evenings.....
Have fun and bring your art to the meetings in April and May.
We will take photos of your work and load them onto the website. More Details on this challenge

2015: February & March - "Feathered Friends"
The challenge for this period will the "Feathered Friends"
The challenge is to draw or paint something to do with our feathered friends. It can be a bird/s, feathers, talons....here is an idea.
